Korenix USA’s JetBox 9400 and JetBox 9500 series is ideal for embedded networking applications, where users need a flexible, scalable platform that supports Ethernet and Power over Ethernet connectivity. Compact DIN rail mount enclosures are available making it ideal for industrial network appliance applications such as routers, firewalls, VPN servers, video servers and more.
The JetBox 9400/9500 series uses the Intel IXP 430/435 microprocessor, part of the Intel XScale microprocessor family. Designed for Network appliance device development, the JetBox 9400 series and JetBox 9500 series shorten time to market with pre-installed JetOS, based on embedded linux kernel 2.6.
Advanced networking deployments are made easy with VPN Router functionality from pre-installed OpenVPN with web interface configuration, or add your own linux module. Also, firewall Router functionality from pre-installed IpTables with web interface configuration, or add your own linux module.
For linux application development, The JetBox 9400 and JetBox 9500 VPN series come with JetBoot bootloader meaning all device driver development has been done already. Programming support with SDK for Python, C and Java come pre-installed.
For hardware expansion, the JetBox 9400 and 9500 series have PCI-104 interface – the next generation of PC/104, making the JetBox 9400 and 9500 series the ideal hardware platform for OEM devices such as VPN routers, Firewall Routers, Cellular gateways. and Linux computing. It is a gateway to connect different network groups (Ethernet, fieldbus, serial

Linux Auto-run
The JetBox 9430 series support Korenix Auto-Run customization setting on SD card. The advanced
software feature allows users to configure their own Linux commands once the system is booted.
Users only need to store the commands on an "Auto-Run" file and then store it on an SD card. This way they can automatically run specific configurations or run specific applications in the JetBox 9430
embedded computers making the industrial network management easier and more flexible.
VPN (Virtual Private Network)
Computer networks are no longer closed systems and may consist of intranets, extranets, and Internet
sites. The key remote access requirement of an enterprise organization can be provided using VPN to mitigate the risks of malicious intrusion and establish a mechanism of users’ identity.
DMVPN (Dynamic Multipoint Virtual Private Network) is an enhancement of VPN and an effective solution for dynamic secure overlay networks.
